Connecting with Aotearoa youth

Working with brands and organisations to connect with GenZ’s.

The Media Lab has a breadth of experience targeting and connecting with young people.

Youth are hard to reach through traditional media. Many disconnect with advertising.  They do however discover brands through social media and readily share their opinions on brands actively.

Read here how GenZ’s are about to be your most important consumer and what’s needed to connect with them.

Since 2016, we have operated an internship programme with the marketing school at Victoria University. Each year we take on five marketing students for 700 hours paid work experience. They gain valuable marketing and work experience. We gain valuable insight into their perspectives on product categories, cultural influences and social media.

Some recent youth targeted media campaigns we’ve worked on

Ministry of Education | Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga

Te Hiringa Haora | Health Promotion Agency | He Tuinga Aroha

ETCO
